I got these skates for my daughters 5th Birthday and she loves them. I got the size 10-13 and she has plenty of room to grow in them. I let her skate on the carpet first to get used to them and she just loves them. Not only that but the only time she takes them of is when her 2 year old brother pulls them of her feet because he also loves them soo much. so now I have to go back and get a second pair for him.

THESE SKATES FIT MY DAUGHTER NICELY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A DECENT SKATE FOR THEIR DAUGHTER. MY DAUGHTER LOVED THEM.

These adjustable skates are perfect! They are well made and the adjustable feature works easily.

My daughter learned to ride within minutes of putting this on her bike (almost 6 yrs. old). My husband has back problems and just couldn't run with her to help her keep her balance. This is a great invention and simple to put on and off!

A nice easy attach to the bike and away we went. Sturdy construction and works just fine.

My son had a tough time leaning to balance a bike because he was fearful after a fall he took while still on training wheels (it can happen.) I saw Balance Buddy at a store for about $15 and figured it was worth a try for just a little money. In our case, it took time and patience, with short but frequent trips to an empty school parking lot for practice. Eventually, the day came when I knew he was balancing 100%, so I let go. In minutes, he was taking laps around the parking lot on his own, and very happy about it. Honestly, without this product, my son's bike might have ended up gathering dust in the garage permanantly. It was the best way to help him gain the confidence he needed. It was also much easier on my back than trying to hold onto his bike seat. I'd recommend BB for anyone buying their child's first two-wheeler.

It really helped my daughter to learn biking in 3 days !! But if it had more length it'll help tall people who assist the kids.

I bought the Bike Buddy 3 yrs ago with hopes of using it to teach my daughter who was 5 at the time. Well I tossed it in the basement and forgot about it until this summer. Within 1 hr my daughter was riding on her own. It took her a little longer than most of the reviewers because she had a spill on concrete and was TERRIFIED of falling. I feel the trick is to try find a large dirt patch about the size of a baseball infield, where they can learn with no cars around and without fear of falling on concrete. The same day my daughter was on her own, I taught her friend within 15 minutes!! Two weeks later, I taught my 3 yr old son to ride on his own within 45 mins!! Before using the Bike Buddy, I spent countless hours tring to teach my daughter to ride and all I got was a frustrated little girl and a LOT of back pain. The Bike Buddy is an incredible confidence booster for kids and the best $20 bucks that a parent will spend!! Mack (NY, NY)

Bought these for my 9 year old and he loves them!! I love that they are adjustable so he should be able to wear them for awhile.

Great skates. We purchased this for 1 goal in mind! For our son to get the MOST use out of it. It comes with a dial so that it goes between size 3-5 and anything in-between. As you turn the dial it shows on the bottom what size u r at. Very kid friendly. It not only does full sizes but 1/2-1/4 sizes as well. I definitely recommend this. My son also did not complain about any pressure points in the padding also a plus! Sure to get many years of use. can also change wheels if necessary due to wear.

I ordered these for my 8 year old son for Christmas. They are great! They roll and adjust easily and are nothing like the cheaply made skates he had in the past. Definitely worth the few extra $$.

My 7yo son loves these skates. We use them in our house on the pergo floor, outside on our asphault driveway, and also take them to the skating rink. This is his first pair of rollerblades and he caught on quickly. He occasionally has trouble adjusting the latches for a snug fit.

Great skates, especially for the price. Purchased them for my 8 year old son who has never used inline skates. He loves them. Well fitting, good bearings, solid product. Very happy with this purchase.

I picked these up because I needed some new skate shoes, and they reminded me of the ones I wore 5 years ago or so. The main difference now being that they are Hemp instead of the leather (pleather, I don't quite remember). Either way I was excited to see that these shoes were still available, and were to be had so cheaply here on Amazon (sorry Journeys for being my shoe test-fit guinea pig). Onto the shoes. The shoes to be expected took awhile for me to break in. The sole remained quite stiff for about 2 weeks or so. Not a big deal, and to be expected. After riding around a bit on my motorcycle trials bike, it completely broke them in. Obviously not their intended use, but it softened them up a bit and brought them to a great comfortable state. The look on them is IMO great. I know 95% of the people that are buying skate shoes are buying them for the looks. So do yourself a favor, and get the shoes that still maintain a good deal of class to them. These shoes can easily be worn in a "dressier" situation, and I've had no ill comments as to them looking haggard with casual pants. The other part of these shoes that drew me to them was the fact that all new skate shoes have gone to this completely terrible flat "old school" type shoe. I'm not sure who brought on this look\style\whatever you want to call it. That style shoe just doesn't work right, and are uncomfortable. Now don't get me wrong. I know that these shoes aren't exactly praised by Podiatrists. They don't have any arch really, but actually have some "shape" to them. I enjoy this in a shoe. Now if you're anything like me with skating, you will have a tendency to somehow roll your ankles with ease. I know this can be remedied with wearing my shoes looser, but then things just get sloppy. This is to me the best feature of these shoes. With them being a sort of mid-top shoe, they have saved me from many a rolled ankle. The reason I gave them a 4\5 though is due to the fact that on the velcro strap on my left foot, the velcro has separated from the fabric. I did nothing weird, and the only thing I can think of is that I caught it on something and it pulled it up. This is not a big deal, doesn't hurt function, and isn't really noticeable until I remove the shoes. All in all one of my favorite shoes, and now I'm wishing I had picked up another pair at the 40$ price. Such is life.
