I checked this book out first time on my son's fourth Christmas, and then again the fifth, and this year for the sixth, I decided to buy it for a Christmas present. This book makes me crack with laughter, and feel fuzzy and warm inside. Family characters and situations portrayed in this book are real and believable. I cannot say how much my son and I love this book. Kids will love this book, it is so funny, and the message is good and classic. Christmas is really not about Wii, DS and iTouch; it's about family gathering and the spirit of support and help. The least wanted presents save boy's life. Reading of this book will leave you with a smile.

I happened upon this book while looking for something different to read to my library classes of first graders. This is not your usual holiday story. Although the book may seem lengthy, the kids were engaged for the entire story. They enjoyed this book almost as much as Poppa's New Pants. I am a fan of Angela Shelf Mediaris and have read other stories by her to my classes as well. I look forward to more stories about George, Big Mama, Aunt Tiny, and Poppa.

I purchased this outfit for my daughter's 4th birthday. I ordered it a month in advance, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was shipped in two days. The costume is very detailed, and a great value for the price. My daughter does not yet have a bitty baby; she has a pottery barn doll "Sophie" doll. I have had a hard time finding enough clothing for Sophie. The ice skates are adorable. This is a great doll outfit for any little girl with a 14-17 inch doll that loves to ice skate. Because this outfit was not designed for the doll we are using it with, the skates do come off easily. Also, the lace ties are too difficult for my daughter to work on the ice skates, which means parents will have to help dress the baby. On the major plus side, is the fact that the back of the ice skates are zippered. So a small child can put them on all by itself, if only the laces would stay tied. The fact that the laces are come undone may not be any type of product defect, as my sneakers come untied all the time, so operator error may be in play. I love this outfit, as does my child. It is very beautiful. I plan to purchase more.

Bought two of these outfits and had to return them. They run VERY small.

Really happy with this purchase. Dress is perfect for little girls who want the whole ice skating experience, but mom doesn't want to pay big price of typical skate dress. Fabric is nice and dress attractive. We did order a size larger, as friends who have been in ice skating for awhile said dresses tend to be quite fitted, my daughter usually would wear 8-10, but we bought 12-14 and fits quite nicely. Small issue with closure on back not staying closed, but for price worth it to work a little with the closure.
